Prayer is a conversation with God. There are many, many, scripture passages that remind us to pray~ and keep on praying ~ God cares for us and "has numbered the hairs of our head" ...  Jesus also reminds us that our Father desires to give us good things, just as we would want to give good things to our own children...

The PSALMS are also prayers to God... and a great comfort to many who seek to find a prayerful spirit ...Some prayers are laments, others are prayers of rejoicing! Some prayers ask forgiveness, others victory over enemies! Some are prayers of thanksgiving while others ask for Gods intervention. One thing is certain, God loves us, and desires to show us this love, if we would but draw near to Him.  In Fact... God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal Life.

We are instructed to pray, and continue praying... to not grow faint ... to believe that we have received our prayer. We should strive to please God, to be found faithful sons and daughters... to obey His word ... Does God answer prayer!   Yes He does ... Sometimes YES, sometimes NO, and sometimes simply to wait ...  Whatever Gods' answer ... it is always best for us ... There is power in prayer...
