I HAD NO OTHER WAY TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THE POWER OF YOUR PRAYER HAS BEEN WORKING MIRACLES! BEFORE I CHECKED MY E-MAILS I SPOKE WITH MY SISTER DIXIE FROM RICHMOND THAT I HAD REQUESTED PRAYER FOR LAST WEEK.SHE SAID PENNY I DON'T KNOW WAHT HAS HAPPENED BUT I THINK I HAD A NORMAL DAY TODAY!!! SHE HAD NOT HAD ONE IN SO LONG IT WAS SO VERY STRANGE TO HER. I TOLD HER I HAD REQUESTED PRAYER FOR HER ON YOUR SITE.  OF COURSE OUR WHOLE FAMILY PRAYS FOR HER DAILY.... IT HAD TO BE YOUR PRAYERS AND I PRAISE GOD FOR YOU!

Dear Prayer Partners:

Thanks so much for the prayers on Wednesday for a permanent job.  Not only was my prayer answered but I received two (2) job offers.  The one I decided to accept will begin training on Friday and Saturday, and I begin the job officially on Monday.  It is with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and it offers a nice salary and wonderful benefits!!!!!  All I could hope for. Please continue to pray for me as I go through the crash course training.  They understaffed themselves so we "new" people are learning the ropes in a hurry. I continue to keep this ministry in my prayers.  May God Bless each of you abundantly.

Just wanted to send a special THANK YOU to the prayer chain!!! I was offered the job I interviewed for on Tues and am on my way tomorrow to Greenville SC tomorrow for a week of training! Mama was offered a wonderful job on the same day. We are so happy and excited! GOD BLESS YOU and THANK GOD for all the wonderful things HE does!

Please continue to keep me in your prayers during my training period this week and for Jacob and Mama who will be in Roanoke without me.

A praise report ---  Amy passed all three parts of the ASHA exam which will enable her to be licensed as a speech pathologist.   Passing this test took a lot of stress and anxiety from her.

Dear prayer family,

As many of you know, Chap was supposed to have day surgery
on Monday , July 15th.  They were going to put a shunt in his liver. We found out that it was going to be more serious then we thought. The doctor explained that  the surgery could leave him with tremors in the hands, loss of memory or he could go into a coma. My daughter asked if maybe they should check the liver first.  After doing so and taking fluid off of the liver, the doctor discovered that it was not the liver at all, and canceled the surgery.  Praise the Lord.  I know it was a healing, and it was all of your prayers that brought him through. I cannot thank all of you enough, and I can never thank my Lord enough for his healing hands.  God bless all of you.

Dear fellow prayer partners. 
Remember We prayed for Jennifer Derenge to have a diagnosis
of abdominal ailments.  After seeing her new doctor, 
she received a diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome and started taking
medication.  I talked to her Monday night and she was elated because she had been able to drink milk for breakfast that morning without getting a belly ache.  She had not been able to do that for four years!  The Lord
showed Jen (and Me too) that His love is worth Our complete praise and
adoration.  Jennifer goes back to college with a testimony of answered
prayer.

She came through the surgery very well,
and the doctors told her Thursday
that the brain tumor was not malignant !
Bonnie is home and so far shows no ill effects from the surgery.

Hi Jeanne,

I emailed you a while back asking you to pray for my mom,
Raquel's successful cancer surgery.

Low and behold, it was!

It started off as a minimally invasive procedure,
but was converted to a major surgery when the
surgeon discovered she had to remove the pleura.
All tests on the pleura came back NEGATIVE for any cancer.

Prior to surgery, her PET and CT scans were clean.
Although it certainly took some time(3 weeks),
her lung finally re-expanded completely,
so last Friday she finally had the pesky(and painful)
chest tube removed.

From what all the doctors are saying, things are looking good.
Her lung completely re-expanded means no more shortness
of breath, and no more tubes or fluid buildup to worry about.
In about three weeks my mom's oncologist wants to begin
her final 2 months of adjuvant chemo, just to be safe.

I wanted to thank everyone for helping me believe
that miracles can and do happen, if you just ask God.
Once again, thank you for helping me
strengthen my faith through this epiphany.

Her clinic, the Block Medical Center,
known for its holistic approach to cancer, even wants
to publish her success story in their quarterly
journal called "Integrative Cancer Therapies." Cool huh?
Maybe we'll be famous.
Please continue to pray for her as she completes
her final two cycles of chemo.  Thank you SO much :)

Kevin, our son-in-law, who had the astrocytoma 
got a report from Duke while he was there yesterday
that he is now clean of the cancer.  
They could not even find the spot where it was,

Hi there everyone. I wanted to send out a
mailing and let you know
the GREAT news about my friend Tracie and her baby.
 here is what was going on....

...Tracie went out of state to a hospital, problems with her pregnancy. The baby was an RH baby,
and they thought might have spina bifida.

The doctors here  just wanted to abort! 
Here's what happened Saturday,
then I'll update on what I found out this morning.

The doctors attempted to do a blood transfusion on the baby
while Tracie was carrying him..
but the attempts failed and they had to do an emergency C section...
He weighed 1lb 13 oz...and is 13 inches long....
he is struggling...but he seems to be a fighter.....

Here is today's news. I spoke with Tracie and she is home.
The baby (James Waylon) was only
on the ventilator for 16 hours!!!
He is off all of that now and only has an IV. His lungs are ok,
and he is doing great to be so tiny. He is such a miracle!!

Tracie and her husband are so happy.
She wanted me to thank everyone for the prayers.
She is doing great considering she just had a C-section.
She has pictures and would like to send a photo
and a personal thank you to those of you
that prayed for her and baby. 
If you receive an email from "Tracie" don't delete.
It is from her.

Although the past six months have been

not to be in oxygen and live a normal life,
we Praise God in Jesus Christ Name
for His goodness, and thanks Him with all our heart. Amen

PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED! Bob Stroupe
received his new kidney yesterday  (Thursday 1/5/06)
from his son-in-law Greg Sowers.  Everything went perfect!
The kidney is working great and the creatine numbers
are just right.  Greg will be released tomorrow (Saturday)
and Bob is expected to be released SUNDAY. 
KEEP THEM IN PRAYERS! Thanks!

My last two prayers were answered (in Gods time) in my favor.
My sense of taste came back 100% and I do not have cancer ---
I have an anemic blood disorder which they are treating
and my strength is coming back. 
I am elated and thank God and all the people who prayed for me.

FROM CHERYL:
Praise report -  After battling with Texas Workforce
I FINALLY received compensation
for Hurricane Rita - disaster relief for self employed.
The Labor Dept. ordered Texas Workforce to pay me for five weeks!
PTL!  Now keep in pray regarding IRS. 
Sent info to IRS Advocate in Houston.

I have just heard from my Liver Specialist:
+ PRAISE GOD, my Hep C viral level is UNDETECTABLE !
After only 3 months of the 1 yr. of treatment;
plus no signs of anemia !
+ as an EXTRA Heavenly bonus ---
my HIV  viral level is ALSO undetectable.

Need continued prayers though as I must
do 9 more mos. of liver meds;
both meds can build up a resistance; bring back viral levels...

Meanwhile; always---GOD IS GOOD !!!
