A BIG Thank You to Gina and OlivetThank you so much for agreeing to be a Friend of Pen4God Ministries - your names have already been added and posted on the Internet. The sole purpose of this initiative is to identify friends around the world who have visited the Pen4God Ministries website and like what they see there, so that I can "reward" their agreeing to be a Friend by including them in the Friends Page on the site. There is NO other commitment, financial or otherwise, just a willingness to be counted as a P4G Friend. If there are any other Friends of HC4u who have read and approved the Pen4God Ministries site who would like to have their names added, please indicate your willingness on this thread [to encourage others] and send me a personal message giving me your correct name, town/city where you live, and country [to keep the information secure on this Forum]. Thank you in anticipation of lots of replies. To refresh your memory the site can be accessed at www.pen4god.co.ukGod bless Pen This is posted again as a gentle reminder.

Surge of complaints after controversial abortion ad Hundreds of outraged viewers have complained after the nation’s first ever televised abortion ad aired last month. The 30-second abortion ad, which was shown on Channel 4, focuses on the question ‘Are you late?’ to grab the attention of women who may have missed their period. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has now received 370 complaints from offended viewers and Channel 4 has received over 600 more, according to The Daily Telegraph. Women aborting babies conceived through IVF
Dozens of women are aborting their children after having IVF to conceive them, statistics show. Life is cheap it seems as far as unborn babies are concerned.God bless Pen

I'm resurrecting this topic thread, because there is some shocking news around in the UK at present. Here's the first item with reference to Scotland [part of the UK].
The SNP has pledged to consult on same-sex marriage, it was announced yesterday. The party made the pledge in the ‘Wellbeing’ section of its manifesto for the Scottish Parliamentary elections, which are to be held on 5 May.
The move comes just days after the Scottish Labour Party announced it would consult on ‘options’ regarding same-sex marriage and the Scottish LibDems announced their full support for it.
Sad situation, isn't it?

I have just noticed that I have resurrected this topic thread EXACTLY TEN MONTHS AFTER THE LAST POST - 16th June 2010 to 16th April 2011.
That was not planned. I'll add some links to this topic on the current topic threads.

Sir Pen We have a retailer here that is participating in gay parades and helping with the gay agenda in print material to children. Little tiny tots. Home Depot. I have quit buying there.

Hi All,
Slightly off topic perhaps: I noted several homosexual pieces of so called entertainment across BBC. and ITV. between 7 & 9 PM. yesterday evening's smut on Freeview.
Needless to say I switched over and away from such smut straight away!
I do object to paying TV. tax to support this sort of immoral rubbish though all the same?
Yours in Christ,
Colin.

That's not off topic, Colin, it's spot on!
What you say is very relevant, as you can see from this snippet of information: Weak film censors mean kids now watch x-rated movies. "Cynical directors and weak censors mean our children now go to films that would have been x-rated ten years ago", a film critic has warned.
Shocking, isn't it?

I noticed that in the US. Parents have the right to tell their kids, NO movies of that nature. I get really naggy with my daughter about what she watches. I let her to watch some disney movies on t.v. but not always. I know she gets aggravated with me but better safe than sorry.

Why would they do such a foolish thing?
