Hi All,

Me and my warped sense of humour,  report in 'Kantar Media Intelligence Health News UK', suggesting that if you take your Zebra fish out of your fish tank each morning and give her a kiss you wont need a heart operation.

The end report suggests if patients present a turd each morning at the bottom of the bed for the Black Labrador's rounds it will detect bowl cancer with 90% success rate!  Mind you I don't think it will do much good to the ward's nursing staff perhaps do you??? ....

Well I suppose it will wipe the smile off my surgeons face of twenty years past anyway before he cut me!!! ....

Hi All,

Wonderful advert on ITV's at present by the British Heart Foundation asking for money to advance treatment on heart defects!

She is holding a conversation with a Zebra fish you know.  Not only that but it is a highly intelligent Zebra fish when it is answering her back!

That reminds me I have forgotten to take my heart tablets again!

Not quite, if The British Heart Foundation get it right the zebra fish from the River Ganges will be the heart tablet!  

Keeping it short,  the fish have cells which repair/grow, new cells in the heart!  Genetics has not been mentioned in the articles/paper but it could be at that level!

But not a certain fact that after the possibly successful new treatment that we will be living in the fish tank going glug glug with them!

Oh just a little more of my warped sense of humour.  When at times of stress we can either pray to the Lord to give us strength or just keep taking the St John's Wort to calm the fevered brow or something else like that!

Ah yes Ruth,

Now that was at the exact right spiritual moment!  Rather stressed and tired today with a little breathless thrown in! 

Put the car in for it's first test and service with me.  Leaking radiator, Boot needs a weld.  Front offside wheel about to fall off!

But not to worry it is in full working order it seems!  It's wings are flapping energetically!

The wind is doing seventy to ninety miles an hour outside my study window and the house spouts are still unwell after the two foot of snow on the roofs stretched them last month!

But apart from that as the wind doth roar from the West, and the side fence waves in the breeze like a drunken sailor home from the sea,  isn't The Lord Jesus wonderful, for His Everlovingtenderkindness is there to reach down His hand and lift me up from the miryclay yet again with an angelical cry from the clouds above, oh no it's Colin again!!! .... !

So sorry you had such a hard day, Colin. But remembering his everlastingtenderkindness is a wonderful joyful thing!

I've had a tough one today too.

Got a call this morning that my sister broke her ankle, both tib and fib and was having surgery today. Then found our carwash to have a bay that isn't working. Then realized I scheduled 3 rather large events for this week! 

I guess I'll live. Things can really weigh you down sometimes.

Tib and fib.,  what was she doing horse riding or parachuting!  I bet that hurt!

Lord,  Put your healing blood on her ankle and heal it please for you are the only one who can do it!

Bind all that is wrong please in her foot and take the pain and inflammation out of it!

Lord love Ruth's sister and make her whole again please!

Let your Everlovingtenderkindness just flow over her and make her whole again please!

She just got out of surgery 2 hours ago. She is doing ok. No weight bearing for 6 weeks. She'll be discharged from hosital Monday or Tuesday.

Thank you, Olivet, the healing has begun. She has had a good first day postop.
