Exodus 24
9Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up [the mountainside].

10And they saw the God of Israel [that is, a convincing manifestation of His presence], and under His feet it was like pavement of bright sapphire stone, like the very heavens in clearness.

11And upon the nobles of the Israelites He laid not His hand [to conceal Himself from them, to rebuke their daring, or to harm them]; but they saw [the manifestation of the presence of] God, and ate and drank.

They saw God!  clapper

I know there are places in the Bible where is says no one has lived to see the Lord God.

But they did see God .  So...explain this to me please.

Yeah

He Our God very much wants us to see Him.  Moses, Aaron Nadob and Abihu dared to see His manifestation and yes God was pleased.

Could be RA, but I've read this before and it just didn't stick.

  Exodus 24

First, the chapter talks about "Lord and God",
why is that?

Then the Bible is saying 2 different things.

No one has seen God.
People see God?

Preincarnate Christ

Genesis 17
1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.

So, it must be Christ in Exodus 24 too???

I think so.  Just in a little confusing to me.
