Hi dear Olivet,
As you say, world wide domination has
always been the goal of Islam. The 20th century's radicalization of Islam may have been spurred by two events: the fall of the Ottoman Empire, which made them make plans as to how recreate the Caliphate, and the creation of the state of Israel, something I'm sure they
never anticipated. Those in Christianity who study prophecy
knew God had a plan for Israel in the end-times and that a remnant would be brought back, but that does not figure in Islam's escathology...
I was surprised when Kristol and the National Review criticized Beck. I love the National Review but I've noticed they are trying a little too hard to steer free of comments that 'radicalize' Islam, and also, they are inclined to attack Beck.
Beck is harsh and abrasive, but I've never heard or read anything of his I could not verify. His team is probably the best investigative team in the news, today. I think some, i.e., the National Review, are feeling a little bit threatened by someone (Beck) who does not stop to measure consequences when the truth needs to come out. I thank God for Beck, even if at times I would prefer that what he says were a lie, for it would allow me to sleep better...but he is right on the money. He's certainly a voice in the wilderness in this day and age!
Islam's best asset is something you mentioned: demographics. While the West keeps reducing the number of off-springs, Muslims keep bringing children to this world, thus soon we'll have more Muslims than any other group. That's how --if they can't do it through terrorism-- they'll get into power. They'll use government and get sharia law approved, by exercising the right to representation, pure and simple, in societies that advocate "democracy."
