Hi All,

With Easter just gone I wonder what witness you have regarding the third part of you and I?

Where is it and what is it I wonder!  I believe I have had an inspired answer tonight but spiritually speaking I find it hard to describe spirit separate to body and mind.

I have had an incline from The LORD tonight and wonder whether folk here would agree as a result of that:  It is usual to separate the human-trinity out into three elements which are Body, Soul, Heart/Mind, (spirit being separate from rest!).  I have always departmentalised these Elements-of-self in this way!

How would it be if I shift position here and define these elements as: Human-spirit in/surrounding mind and body, mind in Brain/body?

Does this make sense?  I am not so sure!

Colin, we should probably define terms. My idea of body, soul and spirit are a bit different, I think.

As far as my spirit, I think that's where the Lord talks to me. And I hear it in my brain sometimes. It was weird once, now twice. I heard his voice, quiet voice but I didn't hear it. I heard words but not really. sounds nutty.

Now that was really useful and brings my thoughts into focus!  I don't usually get a running commentary in English.  The Still-Small-Voice that Wesley experienced perhaps with a Warming of his Soul/spirit perhaps?

But I should not be surprised that The LORD does not write me a letter but speaks directly in what we could call Thought-language perhaps!

But I feel it goes without saying that to hear Him you must be seeking His Presence and in tune expectantly perhaps, prayer talking to The LORD and listening with the Minds-eye perhaps?

For in The Bible we have,

1.  Torah: The Law of The LORD.  By which we should pay attention so that we know the difference between right and wrong!

2.  Prophets: We read and listen to what the Prophets have to say to us from the ancient past and unto today!

3.  Wisdom: Holy Scripture is there to teach us how we should value our incite into The LORD'S promises to us the Believers and how we should apply our knowledge as we serve Mankind in His Name.

There was the time years ago now when I was fighting to get out of the place.

The Home Office Pathologist used to always seem to start work on the murder or suspicious death at two o'clock in the morning!

I used to be on automatic at two in those days!

But I must have been ageing a bit for at the end of service, everytime the Home-office Pathologist started on the scull with the circular saw I started for the door you know!  Let one of my detectives do the photography!

Could this be an original thought or an accident of fate I wonder?

A nice one today on inflammation of the little gray brain cells caused by social stress!

It is reported in 'Science Daily' that, "Researchers are beginning to see exactly what the response to threats look like in the brain at the cellular and molecular levels.

You see someone up there told us long ago, it, social stress, is not just in the mind it is in the brain as well if you cannot take flight you have to fight!

I never thought of substances like cells and molecular collections of cells/elements getting a bad inflamed head when a part of the mind got one first???....!

Now what did Jesus say about stress and social stress I wonder.  I would expect Crucifixion was about as socially stressed as it could get?

What was it,  "Father forgive them for they know not what they do!"

I wonder whether pleasure also causes stress too! Or does it produce water by protein reaction to cool The Brain's Neuro-circuitry down when steam blows off it!

But isn't 'The Lord' wonderful He has created a living organism, The Brain, which can operate in a thinking manner in the area of the Mind I shouldn't wonder!

I think it is tree pollen here, it is blowing about in the wind from the old Chestnut tree in the corner of four peoples gardens we abut!

It brings tears to the ears you know!

16degrees C!  The Sun has got his hat on hip hip hip hooray!

My wife is having a meal out with close family for her birthday, and I am putting half a stone on as usual!

7 Pounds or half a brick if you haven't got scales with weights! (English standard brick of course!)

PS.  Well a miracle happened last night I lost two pounds.

Only side effect was if my heart had been on the right side a heart attack to the upper bowel.

Wonderful food though provided you were insured!  I think it had to do with my Colon being half the length of the rest of you!!!....!
