Hi All,

An interesting association with 'Asherah' and her late husband Baal perhaps?

The way some of those in the world of atheistic tendencies plus organisations like The BBC. who appear to some as enemies of Jesus Christ have another wonderfully enlightening serious for Easter on our God, Yahweh and His wife Asherah from someone with atheistic tendencies/organisations.  (I know her as Ishtar and in one branch of Baal who is NOT El or Yahweh has three wives too!).

The first step in giving El female characteristic no doubt later when this has been accepted!  This link to El is an insult in my eyes bordering on old Blasphemy bordering on mischief to give comfort to the forces of evil ranged against Christianity in their doctrinal belief in the god of 'Equality' and dastardly PC.!!! .... !

PS.  I do not think God needs a wife to Create The Universe do you?

PPS.  I do not think The Creator needed anybody else but Trinity God Himself!

PPPS.  What do you think and can you think it without offending the forces of 'the queen of heaven herself'  equality, PC., and the new religion of the 'god/goddess', and the 'its', 'EQUALITY'!  Could Equality be an idol by any chance perhaps of the city god Al/Baal?

I saw the find of inscriptions to Yahweh and Ahsherah (God's wife) in The Biblical Archaeology Review. I too, was titled: Did God  have a wife?

I just thought it was neat that the Bible once again was exonerated in that the Asherah poles are mentioned all through the OT.

Yeah. I saw that too in the PBS broadcast of the Hebraic discoveries (archaelogical) in Israel.

BTW

I know this is kind of otp but this reminds me of what I read long time ago online about the revival of Zeus worship among some Greeks in Greece! Seems idolatry which was once visible had gone underground for centuries only to reappear once again as we near the end times.

The "godless" will find anything to substantiate their belief that they don't need GOD as who HE claims to be but what they "make" out of their vain imaginings.
