Christian:A Homicidal Manic?

Hi All,

Because of a homicidal manic in Norway, Christian Fundamentalism is being accused as an accessory after the fact!

Assuming all Christians, especially Fundamental ones have in their Christian Moral Code the following,

The LORD said to Moses,  "You shall not murder." {The Hebrew word also covers causing human death through carelessness or negligence. ESV. note to v13.}.  Exodus.20:13 ESV.

How is it possible to attribute the term homicidal maniac to Christ and His teaching by the British Press, etc.?

I would imagine criminal insanity may well be a verdict in any future trial of this very sick man don't you think!

How do we view such mass murder and such accusations against Christ I wonder?

I find the press pretty ignorant or  lacking in integrity when the speak of anything they consider "religious"
It is all one big lump "thing" that can be used for getting better rating in their particular media.
I don't know about the UK but I assume it is pretty much the same  as here. Intelligent media people to this day refer to Jesus as "Yeshu", a name that orthodox Rabbis have invented that means "may his name and memory be wiped out". I hope it is just ignorance and not intentional.

But seriously, Colin, Would anyone who knows Yeshua, really blame Him for this kind of atrocity?

Our Lord Yeshua is a stumbling stone or block.

And his cross is a great offense.

I'm never surprised, Colin, when the world blames disciples of Yeshua for the evils of this world.

The man who murdered these people was not a disciple of Yeshua. He had sinned to the point where, as Paul had said, God gave him over to the shameful things in his heart.

Love is action. (Christ went to the cross).

Hatred is also action. (This man murdered around 90 men, women and many many children).

Believers love.

They are lost people and need to be born again , they need our prayers just like the family of the slain need our prayers.

Wouldn't you just believe it this murderous crackpot doesn't consider that young Socialists should have the free speech to meet together and plan their nations future!

They the socialist appear to be the main political reason and target for this individual's anger!  Yet who gets the blame by The Media but Christ and His Church?

It reminds you of the Liberal Socialist lost souls in England before we replaced them in Government by Tory and Liberal lost souls, was it last year perhaps!

But not to worry the USA. is about to go bust today and the Euro isn't feeling very well over here either!  That's what you get for living on tick or should that be tic?

I had read that someone hacked into his facebook page after the murders and typed in that he was Christian.
