I have been away for a while now. There is much to deal with.
The attacks down South are continuing even with the so called cease fire.
It is obvious the Terrorists are taking advantage of the fact that we will not or cannot anger Egypt.

On a more personal level we are changing a whole phone exchange system which we've been using for 25 years.
I'm personally in charge of this project so there is much to do and much to learn.

I'm not leaving the forum. I just refer to it as some time off

I wish you wouldn't apologize so much. Nothing wrong in simplistic thinking. Makes life easier to handle I guess

What you call simplistic thinking is something we are very much guilty of, as so many times  we tell our leaders what they should be doing, not taking into account the 2nd and 3rd steps or various undercurrents unknown to the person in the street.

"Hamas shooting rockets again? Go into Gaza and wipe them out!!"
"Iran wants to get rid of us? Lets nuke them!!"
So easy to say when one is angry and not responsible for the results of such actions

Last week I took some time off the forum, one of the reasons being I couldn't quite trust myself to control my anger.
Eph 4:26 (ESV) "Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger"  - is a very appropriate verse under such conditions.
What it said to me was "If you can't control your anger, at least don't spread it around"

I do think some things are simpler than we or our governments make them. Frequently humans complicate things that really do require a simple solution.

My government is one.

They need to stop spending more than they take in.

Trouble is they want re-elected. Fact is that's all they think about.

In England The Labour/socialist Party  is as good as chairman Maw's and it is worshipped by some of it's members instead of The State Religion, Christianity, anyway!

The Liberal Cuckoo Party in government is like the fifth column Libertines/socialists, spies from within?

The Tories are selling the State Church down the river in favour of crackpots like Stonewall Libertines!

I get the feeling this morning that even Jesus Christ Himself would not be safe walking around here anymore, besides it is raining heavy wet water!
