Did the article show up, Colin?
Have you often seen ghosts? She seems comforted by these visitations though, did not think this was all that common.
When an uncle had died a distaance away, I caught in the corner of my eye his coming uo my front stair to say good bye. I had a wonderful visitation of Pope John Paul ll as he died in splendid color and all joy, I saw my mother in the heavenly realm after she had passed away, she looked younger aand I did not see my Godfather, but one day it seemed heaven had come to earth and I thought it was him, awesome .
Unfortunately there was no repetition

Hi Olivet,
Yes, took a bit of time to appear but it got there in the end!
No I am afraid I don't believe in Ghosts and have never actually seen one.
It might have something to do with my belief that ghosts are not so much an effect of my imagination but related to demonology rather than a recording of the past or a visitation!
Mind you I have had a few experiences in the depths of night in certain places older than The United States of America perhaps!
I believe in Jesus' explanation that the dead are either in Heaven or Hell and there is a great chasm between them and us!
Yours in Christ,
Colin.

I don't know if it is a question of believing. The Scriptures are so full of inter action between the natural and the super natural realm...Saul met the witch of Endor,Samuel after death spoke with Saul, Mary was visited by an angel, An angel gave Joseph instructions. An angelic heavenly choir sang of the birth of our Lord Jesus in Bethlehem and brought the shepherds to the manger. Maybe it depends upon your personal interpretation of the word ghost. The Holy Spirit is also called the Holy Ghost Colin http://www.ncregister.com/site/article/the-angels-of-advent/

Hi Olivet,
That last post of yours Olivet is so very true!
I also sympathise with the urge/need to contact relatives of the mortally dead kind! But Saul by rights should have put his witch to death for practicing witchcraft/spiritualism!
To every rule and Law in Torah, there will be an exception, The LORD'S Presence in The Form of the HolyGhost is one of them! But of course The LORD is not a democrat is He, Is He?
Yours in Christ,
Colin.
PS. I think I must appear as a spector here about too sometimes!

I too sympathize with those who feel the need to connect with the ones who have passed.
I've never really understood that.
I do believe in the angels of God being around us, I also believe there are the principalities that is spoken of in Ephesians who have 'areas' they want to control and do as much damage as they can.
But, I think one of the reasons we don't 'see' as maybe some others is in our scientific minds we rule out the possibilities.
Have you even been in a place or around someone and you 'felt' the evil?

I felt that way when one of my dogs had died....I was given a tiny rug with the foto of a poodle on it, and touching that rug gave me such comfort, but Baby Boo;s passing was not accompanied by ghosts, but by the name being sometimes applied to other dogs, and a dog being given that very same name by a friend. I blamed myself for no reason and ruminated constantly and in truth this episode has born much understanding and fruit in my life and those around me. The Lord gave me a little white poodle who from day one fell in love with me. Dogs have played a major role in my life and from this animal/human relationship, I have become so much more aware and sensitive to the frailties of man and their need to connect and to give and be loved. They are a part of nature which we need to connect to, all reflecting the loving Creator who loves His creation.

Hi Olivet,
The Poodle seems to be a breed of dog which is able to return the love of Mankind easily!
The return of that love passed and received back from the dog is perhaps a witness to higher things in Creation!
To be in search of Christ's love is a wonderful gift and occupation amongst the human Race is it not!
Yours in His Everlovingtenderkindness,
Colin.
