The Arab Christian population is declining rapidly...like their moslem brothers they decry the creation of the Jewish state...but are persecuted by both.

They have a serious identity problem in their homeland.  I say homeland because a census of Palestine in the 1800s by a Catholic priest indicated that outside the Jewish population mostly in Jerusalem, and wandering bedouin tribes, the Arab population was mostly Christian, very few moslem Arabs lived within the confines of Israel today created in 1948.

Much attention is given to the huge numbers of Arafat Palestinian Arabs and the Arabs that flocked to Israel in 1948 to build the new nation, but most people are unaware that a n Arab Christian minority dwelled in total peace with the Jews, of course, they dwelled in peace, no noise.

Most IDF soldiers are unaware of their presence as is the state of Israel, most Palestinians are considered to be Moslem and of course, they suffer for this .

With the creation of Israel a fund was set up for the Palestinians which it appears were was not the case for the Christians among them as per this article 

they are the true brothers of the Messianic Jews and all Christians everywhere

When I was in Israel last year, we attended an Arab church in Bethlehem. The church has been fire bombed several times. The pastor has been shot, stabbed, but still he lives and preaches the Gospel. Amazing people.
