Hi All,

To the World, particularly in The West, Xmas, is over!  New Year is following close on it's heels!  But in my Church we remembered this morning that this is the 8th.Day of Christmas!

Today we remember that Jesus was presented and circumcised, but more than that He was 'named' for the Eighth Day is in the Jewish Tradition the day that a male child receives his name that God knows him by!

He is called by His Name and judged by his name!  Jesus, that is His Name, 'God with us!'

The key to the first relationship with Jesus is by knowing His Name! 

How do we know Jesus' Name,  well the answer could be that it was told to us by one of HIS!

Or you as a person was drawn to Him through hearing it spoken.

Or that you were drawn to read it in The Word of God, The Bible!

Either ways it was given to you through eyes and ears!

"If you don't know the Name you can not believe the same!"

For the Name of Jesus is the Name above all names and the final judgement will depend on whether The LORD GOD knows your name for He most certainly knows His Own Name, His Own!

And then there was John the Baptist who also was given His Name by God and in Circumcision he was on his 8th. Day named 'John' too!
