Hi All,

I wonder what the philosophy might be in this one?

Mr. & Mrs. Pastit lives next door to Mr. & Mrs. Whatsit!!!....!

Mrs. Pastit too Mr. Pastit, "Go into the garden Alf and pull a cabbage for BoxingDay dinner!"

So off he goes, .....


Half an hour later Mrs. Whatsit from next door comes in to see Mrs. Pastit, "Where is Mr. Pastit I need him to turn Frank over???....?"

"He has been in the garden for half an hour drawing a cabbage!" Mrs. Pastit replied without a caution!

"I'll go and see what has happened to Alf he may have forgotten his rubber!"

Moments later with lots of noise coming from Mrs. Whatsit as she dashes in!


"Alf is lying over his crumpled cabbage on the garden path DEAD!  What shall we do-ooh?"

"Ah well!" Mrs. Pastit replies,  "Not to worry, I have got a tin of peas!"

Mrs. Pastit is a little too focused on the business at hand. Perhaps she'll miss Mr. Pastit when he isn't available to get cabbage and she hasn't any peas.

Well it is when Whatsit is Pastit they need assistance from the neighbours!

Come to think of it after sitting down and writing this one I think I need assistance from the neighbours too?

Hi Grammy,

Well that is better than switching on with the intension of kicking the opposition in the teeth just because they dared to argue the opposite!

I find that these days it is not so much as agreeing with someone but preventing myself biting them in the process of an answer! 

Must be growing soft in my old age?

PS.  But I am afraid that anything written in heresy tends to lead to the wind up still!  Especially when they present it as truth!

PPS.  Well raising a laugh sometimes can be better than raising wind anyway don't you think!
