Hi Olivet,

I have thought for a long while now that somebody/government/authority in The Holy Land should go into that Church building and shut it down,

1.  Clean out all the servants of God!

2.  Put Purity into that place. Not with a mop and bucket, but with the Mop and Bucket found in The LORD of LORD'S!

3.  Who needs buildings anyway!  A living building The Church People themselves, are The Living Building not the bricks and mortar!

This one In Israel is not a very good Christian witness these days is it?

Sticks and stones will always hurt my bones you know just look at what happened on The Cross!  What a witness of and for Christ!  The whole lot of them in that building need a good wash themselves first before they look at others!

Yours in Christ,

Colin.

Hi Olivet,

We are all a bit cranky that is why we are Christians!

Some are more cranky than others, however, don't you think and I should know!

Yours in His Everlovingtenderkindness,

Colin.

Very bad behavior. I don't think God Almighty liked it.  Shocked

Holy men having a turf war at church!

What wonderful headlines for the non-believers to use against believers. Sad

How very true you two and three,

The witness couldn't be worse if it tried!

Yours in Christ,

Colin.

PS.  I was going to suggest that we took responsibility for their lunacy but I doubt whether we could improve the situation apologising for fools, even Christian fools!!!....!

Amazing how people put so much 'passion' on a building or area isn't it.

You're right Colin, God is everywhere, just not in a building.

I've always thought King David really knew that God didn't really want the temple to be built, but wanted people to 'see' God everywhere.

I'm not saying there isn't 'holy ground', but this worship of building is kinda covered in the worship idols part isn't it?

If they were 'fighting' for the right to worship , I might feel different about this.

Hi Grammy,

That jolts my memory too re Holy Ground.  A tale, just a little one and not attached to our horny friend either!

Once long ago it seems now in the late 1970's on a beautiful farm in North Yorkshire, England, there was a farmer who got himself and his family and friends moved by The LORD.

They went to prayer and went so deeply that the Spirit of The LORD moved within them and upon them!  They continued talking to Him and before long with miracles happening they put up a large circus tent up in the corner of one of that farmers fields!

The Spirit continued to move for He loved to hear their worship and feeding on the Word!  Soon after many a camp of hundreds to thousand visitors and campers they decided to build a church in the corner of the farm yard!  But it was too small and they had to add a bigger one as well!

The point to all this was that one day when I was virtually alone, camping in my Motor Caravan I was led to walk that corner of that field where that circus tent used to be!  I knew that I was walking on Holy Ground the air was electric!  You talk occasionally here about ghosts but I can only talk about HolyGhost Power, something you experience and never forget and I must admit that even when I wander back into the bog, He still reaches down His hand and lifts me up out of the miry clay!

Now isn't that better than brawling in a Church Building where they have forgotten why the Church was built in Jerusalem in the first place.  I found Jerusalem in the corner of a field in Yorkshire England in 1976 and as we go forward in 2012 I will be looking for Him again in 2012 too in the heart and souls of His Children too!

Yours in Christ where His Everlovingtenderkindness is still to be found in the hearts of men and women when they look for Him, He will find them by their bleat!

Colin.

What a wonderful story Colin. clapper clapper clapper

Wish I had one as wonderful, but for me, I just can sit early in the AM with my coffee (weather permitting) and listen to the birds sing songs of praise to my Lord God and I am overwhelmed at His love.

I can see the beauty of His art in so many things, and the love He gives us when we hear children laugh, sing, and play care free with the Holy Guardian angles taking care of them.

I can be nudged to pray for a stranger when I'm in traffic and ahem..they drive stupid and then praise Him for taking care of me .

I have this habit of talking out loud to Father, even when I'm alone , all day long and when laying in bed just before I go to sleep.  He is so wonderful to love us so much.

His beauty is all around us...and for someone who hates winter weather so much, I need to remember that too is His beauty.

I live in the bible belt, meaning there's a church every few block, or right next to each other.  So many churches, and I am amazed how they all seem to get along.  When we had the tornado here , churches were destroyed and people came from all over to help rebuild them.  They didn't care what denomination it was , just that it needed building.  Amazing , the RCC and the Pentecostals worked side by side rebuilding.  And that's just a few denoms
they all came together for God's glory.

For the 'Church of the Nativity' for have such brawls, kinda boggles the mind  doesn't it.  That area is the most famous in the world, and has been in the 'spot light' for years , and had million upon million people gather there , and now again, it gets a bad rap.

May God grant his love on us all..we need HIM so much!

Monks generally almost always do their own work, cleaning, cooking, sewing, even carpentry, shoe repair and take care of one another and their monasteries. Some monks live in almost total silence and do allow people to dwell as guests on retreat.

So a cleaning brawl does seem incomprehensible, especially at the site of the nativity, a hallowed site for certain, for it was here that God came in the flesh as a baby for all to see and recognize hearts VD Oh Silent Night.

I would love to be there to help to organize them and give suggestions or perchance  write in suggestions. Wonder what the Child Jesus would say to them, He did preach in the Temple! no
