Today, every person on this planet is vulnerable to some kind of violence, be it "conventional or not (I would like someone to describe "conventional for me some day). That is why, sitting right on top of the powder keg is no bigger threat for me than finding a "quiet place on some remote island in the pacific (Ask the Bikini island residents)
In fact I fill more secure right here in the middle of the lions den than any other place I could think of.

As bad as it looks, I don't think God intended the world to commit suicide and I still trust God's plans more than any Syrian, Russian, Chinese, American or Israeli plans

The way I see things, "happy new year" is not just an empty blessing

Yet it has a built in filter: It will only give hope, support and comfort to those who believe in the Author.
For the unbeliever it is an empty collection of words, meaning absolutely nothing!
