Hi David,

Yes it is blowing a gale all day long,  but we lie under the shelter of prehistoric cliffs which give us shelter!

110mph. are northern Scotland!  They wouldn't dare come down here without our permission you know!

Our wind speeds are around seventy/eighty mph.

Edinburgh have had 110 mph. today and all north bound trains are stopping at Newcastle and Carlisle!

PS.  Mind you we have all got storm force warnings out at present but the wind has just cleared the sky of clouds and it is 4oC and falling!

My Barometer has just jumped to 28.9 from 28.7 so wet and windy should follow during the night!
