A slight easing in the present cold spell this morning. It's 38f and a slow thaw has set in, making it cold, damp, misty and miserable; and slushy under foot, yuk
Think I prefere it frosty and clear  laugh

It's still unseasonably warm, sunny. Dipped to 22 F last night but now up to 34. SUN!!!!

(We only have on the average 59 clear sunny days/ year).

The cold spell has come to end end at last. Last night it only went down to -1c. This morning is dull and cloudy at about 5c.

Hi Saundthorp,

The Sun is shining on the righteous up here and there is heat in the Sun in the car under glass!

But what could you expect, Jesus is wonderful and He shines on those of His who shines on the unrighteous!

But our ardour is cooled still at nightfall when the wind rises up those peculiar places and the owl hoots in the moonlight whilst hunting!

Yours in Christ,

Colin.

It has been very mild for the past few day but nature is letting us know winter has quite finished with us yet. Down to 28f last night with a dusting of snow this morning.

Our weather has gone really silly now. It's become so mild actually touching 57f today. I went out this afternoon with a raincoat on, I was sweltereting. Still, I won't be putting my winter coats at the back of the wardrobe just yet, I have known a foot of snow in March.

I find the way to deal with weather is not to allow any mixing of the external and internal

That is, the sun Son can still shine inside, even when it's wet and cold outside  Wink

We put some bread out for the birds and every morning a tiny bird flits in the evergreens and grabs some....no doubt a nest will appear but hidden to us Smiley

Got a coating of snow last night. Winds yesterday whipped the house at 50 mile/hour. However I slept through it all.  Grin

28 degrees F right now at about noon. Horses are starting to loose their winter long hair!
