Twitter, no not twit but twittering masses!

Hi All,

What do the Twitterer's get out of twittering I wonder.

Talk of censoring some messages on this Forum of Twitter!

Examining some of the material on there it would appear that a majority of entries on Twitter are what would amount here abouts to be one liner wonders am I mistaken or is this the case???....!

PS.  Twittering and some Face Book reminds me of the rubbish pedalled in the streets, cafés and trains/busses.  Unnecessary drivel level perhaps on mobile-phones!!!....!

I've never managed to connect to twitter

Gave up trying especially as I don't see the need for it

I spend some time on twitter.

You've got to make your statement in 160 characters. (Or is it 140?)

Your browser lets you know how many you have left to type.

I love concise communication. But other times I love to use lots of words.  And sometimes I write in the 'confused style'.
I'm a woman, after all.

Twitter has its place. I think there are 1500 people who follow me and I follow 1300. It keeps me up on the headlines of the day, world wide and local.

I read the article about twitter censoring some tweets. I think it's just in countries where certain tweets can get you in trouble. Actually, they say the tweets aren't really censored. They just don't show in the countries where it would get twitter employees tweeple in trouble but they do show everyplace else in the world on twtiter.
