Hi All,

First you destroy the moral Christian fibre of the kingdom/democracy and when that is done it is much more easily usurped from within rather than without!

First we do not have to believe in God anymore.

Then all of a sudden it is alright to practice immoral/sexual deviances and call them normal.

Then of course the burning of Torah and Bible with it first been torn up follows hard on the other twos heels! Ordinary men are happy in their ignorance of course so why disturb the living walking dead!

Does this sound familiar. A mosque at ground zero, a mosque built on the Temple site in Salem!

A puff of wind will soon be able to blow it away don't you think. But what will be left when you do?

But isn't Jesus wonderful, He Loves us with His Everlovingtenderkindness, not with man made effigies but God made, Father Son and HolyGhost Spiritual effigies,

Colin.

“but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”
(1 John 4:3 NIV)

I'm not so sure any of us can do anything about any of this. Could be my state of mind right now. (I don't feel very effective nor do I have any influence on anyone.)

But we can sit and watch these things happen. I think the important thing as in 1 John, is to remain in the body of Christ, continue as a disciple of Christ and know the difference between true disciples and false ones.

“We are of God: he who has the knowledge of God gives ear to us; he who is not of God does not give ear to us. By this we may see which is the true spirit, and which is the spirit of error.”
(1 John 4:6 BBE)

There are those who are blinded, by God. If someone doesn't want to believe in what's going on, God gives them a stronger disbelief and they will probably never see. That's what we see today. Blindness. And we have no control, but to know this and see correctly and yet to follow our Lord.

I've tried to be an activist. I speak with others about the blindness concerning Israel. I discuss the craziness in the election of our present president. I talk of the monstrous government ours has grown into and the need to make the individual once again responsible. I've verbalized my astonishment at the moral loss in our society. People are just deaf and blind. My words fall on deaf ears.

RA

So true, so true

I do believe as you that the antichrist spirit will fight against the Body of Christ, however, I also believe that constant prayer on behalf of that Body will and can make a difference against the forces of evil yes

RA,
I believe you are right when you say there is nothing we can do about it.
Well, at least in what we call a realistic sense

I have no doubt God has a plan and it will manifest come-what-may
What we are doing about all this is creating certain attitudes towards the inevitable
Praying will most likely put us in a comforted and trusting mood where as denying God will probably make us worried, scared, angry, etc........

We cannot change the world but we can definitely change our attitude towards it
